Orientation Day
The day is designed to informally introduce families, old and new to one another, enabling you to get to know your co-parents, children’s classmates and teachers and hopefully choose a new classroom Mom or Dad, as the parents’ representative. Also, everyone will be informed about school policies, curriculum, calendar of activities and after school schedule and blocks of time of the new school year.

1st Day of School is AUGUST 30th!!!
It’s your child’s first official year of school, and you’ll be amazed by how much he or she flourishes in preschool. How can you help your child succeed from the very first school day? Above all, by helping build self-confidence when it comes to meeting specific goals each year. By being his or her biggest cheerleader, you’ll instill a love of learning that will last throughout life.
We will focus throughout the year on mastering letters, sounds, and words as well as math and awareness, arts and dramatic play, geography, and science and sensory experience. You’ll watch with delight as your child takes his or her first steps toward developing specific skills and mastering them all throughout the school year.

Art Workshop

This year for the first time, St. Alban’s Nursery will spearhead a creative experience in our classroom to create a masterpiece for our “blank wall.” This will be led by a resourceful and very talented guest artist who will guide all our children and their families in exploring their artistic talents.

All materials will be provided by a group of friends and early childhood educators, as sponsors supporting the vision and life motto of our program director Ms. Wen (Carpe Diem: see below)

Carpe Diem: “I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” Stephen Grellet
